Changelog

Changes that affect anyone integrating with the API. Contract-breaking changes are marked heads up.

2026-07

The API documentation got its own site

The reference moved out of the product (it was a ReDoc embedded in Settings → API) and now lives here, at docs.azchat.digital, with guides, code samples in five languages and a console for trying requests.

What changed in practice:

  • Full coverage. The old reference described 144 operations. This one covers all ~590 routes of the API, because it is generated from the application's real routes. That includes the whole CRM (deals, pipelines, tasks, companies, products), marketing (audiences, broadcasts, follow-ups) and Captain, none of which had ever appeared in any documentation.
  • Not everything has been reviewed. About 1 in 6 operations has a hand-written description; the rest carry the path, parameters and body fields derived from the code, with a notice saying they have not been reviewed yet. This will improve area by area, starting with the CRM.
  • In Portuguese. The old reference was inherited from Chatwoot and was entirely in English.

Heads up: the internal /api-docs route was removed, along with the API_DOCS_ACCESS_TOKEN setting. If you had a link saved to it, use this site. No API endpoint itself was changed.
