Start a plan checkout

/api/v1/accounts/:id/checkout

Begins subscribing to a plan, or changing to another one.

Subscribing and changing are not the same thing. A first subscription answers with a client_secret for the payment screen; a change on an account that already pays is applied and answers saying so, with nothing to pay now.

Either way the outcome is settled by the provider's webhook, not by this response — read the billing endpoint back to see where the account landed.
