Update a deal

Updates a deal. Every field is optional; only what you send changes.

Two fields do not behave like the rest:

  • custom_fields is merged into what the deal already has, so sending one key does not erase the others.
  • products and services are replaced wholesale when present. Sending an empty array clears the line items; leaving the key out keeps them untouched. Either way the price totals are recomputed from the resulting lines.

Moving a deal between stages is an ordinary update of stage_id, and it refreshes stage_changed_at. It does not change status — a deal reaching the last column is not won until you say so.
