Save your place in a guided tour

PUT 
/api/v1/accounts/:account_id/onboarding/flows/:id/progress

Records the step reached, and stamps the completion the first time the status becomes complete.

Progress is always written for the calling user, never for whoever the payload names. That is the whole authorization boundary here — it is what stops someone marking another person's tour as done.

Safe to call repeatedly: the same user and tour update one row rather than failing on the second write.

Routed on PUT rather than PATCH, unlike the rest of the reference.
