Sign up and subscribe in one step
POST/api/v1/public_checkout/subscribe
What the checkout's payment step calls. Creates the account and the administrator
user, opens the subscription in Stripe and returns the client_secret the Payment
Element needs to confirm the card.
No API key, but a captcha is required and signups must be enabled on the installation. Rate limited like the signup endpoint it stands in for.
The session comes back in the response headers, so whoever just paid lands in the panel instead of on the login screen. The e-mail is still unconfirmed: the confirmation goes out in the background.
A card declined later leaves an account without a subscription — the same state a plain signup produces — and the customer can pay again without filling the form a second time.
